Brian
Selbo is a seasoned professional with over twenty-five
years of real estate acquisition, development,
portfolio management, asset management and disposition
experience. His primary responsibility within
CA is to source and execute multi-family development
projects on behalf of CA and its co-investment
partners. He has extensive administrative and
management service within the real estate departments
of corporate financial institutions, REITS, as
well as privately owned entrepreneurial organizations.
Mr. Selbo has led the development of over 30 multi-family
projects totaling nearly 5500 units. Prior to
joining Campus Advantage, Mr. Selbo was in charge
of multi-family development for a well known Dallas-based
development company where he developed and sold
multi-family projects over a six-year period with
an aggregate value exceeding $165 million. These
'Class A' multi-family assets, including student
housing, utilized a variety of debt and equity
capital structures with multiple domestic banks
and institutional equity investors.
Previously,
Mr. Selbo served as a Vice President at GE Capital
in charge of dispositions of portfolios for multi-family
loans and assets. While at GE Capital he also
served in the underwriting and acquisition of
numerous portfolios comprised of loans and real
property across the United States with an aggregate
value exceeding $1 billion. Previous to GE Capital,
Mr. Selbo was a Senior Vice President at one of
the nation's largest public REITS (Security Capital)
responsible for the National Asset Management
Group managing a portfolio of over 27,000 multi-family
units. Administering a team of regional asset
managers, his oversight responsibilities covered
a portfolio valued at over $2 billion in seven
southwestern states.
Mr.
Selbo received a B. B. A. at Southern Methodist
University in Dallas with emphasis in real estate
and marketing.
